Plastic recycling line selector: find the right configuration
Three questions, one indicative configuration: washing, pelletizing and filtration, based only on the data published on this site. No prices: the factory confirms the final configuration and price after seeing your material.
Indicative configuration
Indicative configuration based on the general data published on this site; models and outputs are standard values. If your material or project differs, we discuss it with you directly. The final configuration and the price are confirmed by the factory after reviewing photos and, if needed, a trial with your material.

How the selector decides
- Dirty film and woven bags (agricultural, post-consumer, raffia) go through a washing line first: 500, 800, 1,000, 1,500 or 2,000 kg/h. The washing steps are set by the dirt level: sand, soil, impurities, labels. Heavily soiled material gets repeated pre-washing and a high-pressure washing tank. The squeeze dryer brings moisture to 1–3 %. A standard line uses 15–20 t/h of water, with a recommended 25 m³/h water treatment system.
- Washed film flakes are pelletized on an SJ two-stage line (melt and degas, then filter again and pelletize), SJ100 to SJ200, 250–1,500 kg/h. Heavy contamination, or outputs from about 800 kg/h, call for a laser filter: FLS-400 (200–300 kg/h), FLS-500 (400–500), FLD-400 (600–800), FLD-500 (1,000–1,500).
- Clean, dry film scrap that does not need washing goes to the ML series with cutter-compactor, ML75 to ML180, 100–1,200 kg/h depending on the polymer.
- Rigid plastics run on SJ single-stage lines when clean and two-stage lines when printed or contaminated. Large parts are shredded first on a single-shaft (200–1,500 kg/h) or XD-E double-shaft shredder (500–1,500 kg/h); the material decides which one.
- HDPE bottle flakes for food-grade or odour-sensitive uses run on a two-stage line with vacuum degassing and an 80–100 μm hydraulic screen changer, as in the SJ110 + TSSK75 milk bottle project.
- Washed PET bottle flakes run on the SJ160 PET line: 200 kW, 800–1,000 kg/h, hot dehumidified-air pre-drying, input moisture ≤ 1.0 %, IV loss below 0.04 dL/g.
- Recycled plastic with fillers, glass fibre or pigment runs on the single screw + twin screw line SJ110 + TSSK75 (600 kg/h). Compounding with virgin resin runs on VJJ twin-screw extruders, 20–5,000 kg/h.
Plastic recycling machines by Jiangsu PURUI, manufacturing since 2006; twin-screw extrusion by VJJ. Contracts are signed directly with the manufacturer; Torqplas handles specification, material trials and project follow-up.
